They are designed to offer a high performance, cost effective and reliable way to expand your IDE/ SATA/ eSATA device. The RAID host controller provides RAID 0 (mirroring), RAID 1 (stripping), RAID 0+1 (mirroring & stripping) and RAID 5 (parity). Also these cards can fully support IDE/ SATA/ eSATA devices such as hard disk drives, CD-Roms, CD burners, DVD-Roms and DVD burners.
